A real constraint
A date, a regulator, a load number, a two-person team. Constraints make us useful. Open-ended “vision” work does not.
08 / Studio
Dwarsoft is an independent, AI-native product studio. We take fewer clients than we could. That is the point.
Large consultancies optimize for bench utilization. Creative shops optimize for the launch film. Old product shops still run a spec, a design phase, and a build phase that never touch. We started Dwarsoft for the gap: senior people in the code, AI in the loop, and no leftover methodology from 2014.
The name is a nod to craft labor — work that is slow where it must be, fast where it can be, and signed. Intelligence is a tool we can defend, not a slide. The boxed d in our mark is binary on purpose. We like the layer where software is still bits.
How we choose work
A date, a regulator, a load number, a two-person team. Constraints make us useful. Open-ended “vision” work does not.
We need someone inside who can say no. If the only stakeholder is a steering committee, we will pass.
The first ship is the start of the relationship. Same crew, same repo, when something breaks at 2 a.m. We do not hand you a zip file and disappear.
People who have owned a production system at 3 a.m., can still write a kind pull-request comment, and treat AI as a tool they can stand behind. We hire slowly. We do not staff projects with whoever is on the bench this Monday.
If that sounds like you, write join@dwarsoft.studio with a link to work you are proud to defend.
We are not a staff-aug marketplace. We are not an awards shop. We will not staff twenty people to look busy in your Slack. If you need that, the other four sites on your shortlist will be happier than we will.
